WAIL had the privilege of seeing one of our favorite bands in BC, Deep Sea Gypsies at one of the coolest venues in Victoria, the Breakwater Barge right on the ocean! These guys not only are one of the hardest working bands on the island but one of the only bands around doing a throwback style incorporating soulful, 70s southern rock influence into their music. It's so refreshing to hear these sounds coming out of a modern band. We had a chance to meet the band and they're some real home-grown, down-to-earth guys. They've got huge plans this Fall with Toronto show dates and a Europe tour! Check out some videos and pictures we snagged from the show!
