If you haven't heard of Malahat or Spaceboots, these are two of the most KILLER high energy bands in Canada and you NEED to check them out! They shared the stage July 6th at Lucky Bar Victoria and brought down the house! These guys are all extremely talented Here are some sneak peeks at a couple of WAIL's favorite bands around! 

Malahat
Rock n' roll that will rip your heart right out of your chest! Tristan Savage absolutely WAILS on the vocals in this next-level, modern take on a 70s rock sound. He displays an astounding vocal range belting out powerful, ferocious low notes to rich, soaring high notes with amazing projection. Ben Smith rips some killer guitar solos and lays down heavy, colorful blues-rock riffs. Darb brings a ton of character to the sound with his standout, groovy bass lines.Tight and technical drummer, Ross Bowen showcases amazing speed, agility and feel in the live show. This is a MUST-SEE band for any one who bleeds rock n' roll

Spaceboots

Spaceboots is an intense and charismatic modern rock band. Their sound travels to a plethora of different places. Deriek Simon relinquishes some wild screams, moving melodies, and catchy lyrics bringing an exciting and dynamic vocal style. Josiah Truscott has some mad guitar chops, energetic rock riffs and compelling back-up vocals. Dane Currie is an absolute finger-wizard, ripping passionate guitar solos and gritty leads. Matt Posnikoff is on the bass contributing some funky, groovin' bass lines. Cam Ainslie is a hard hitting drummer who adds some killer energy to the project. Spaceboots puts on a wicked show, have a great energy and they're all really nice dudes to boot.
